Update - March 4, 2008 We have been having some major problems with Yahoo (our web site manager). We couldn't seem to get the pages to load properly. We still continued to work on up dating the various lines. They keep telling me there is no problem, and I keep telling them there is....lol My dad had 2 systems. One where he was manually making family trees for each line. I took the information from those and added them into the computer. I recently "encouraged" him to dig out the other major part of his 'system'. He has 3X5 cards on every person for every line. When he would get updates, he would update the cards...sometimes the large trees where not always updated. Well I have taken these 5000+ cards and have begun to make updates. We are also getting updates from various people all over the world, as well as new lines. We are continuing to update and add lines from the census records of England. This has been a major help in not only connecting lines, but it helps with many of the wives names too. We have finished with the census records from the United States. Clearly this is a long process, and I am only one person. My dad is not very computer savvy. He is however making great strides. If you have any questions about updates, please contact me directly - as the web site may not have the most up to date information that we have. Thanks Beth
Because of the large amount of data coming in, We are joining lines as fast as we can. We have another 15 or so that we think are related, but do not have enough information yet. Once we join a line, We will update the line on its web page, And make a note of it on the page. If you have any question if a line is related, please let me know. You may have caught something that we have missed. We will also contact anyone that we know is a member of that line and let them know about the updates. So be sure that we have your contact information so that we can let you know ASAP. We will also help cousins to connect as well.
Census Records We have gone threw all of the census records for the United States. We have gone threw the census records for England for 1841. We are currently working on the 1851 census records. We are slowly working our way forward in time. By doing this, we have added more lines, but I believe that we will be able to join many of them up later on.
